Found A New Home

Just a brief note here to let you know we’ve found our new home. I put some descriptive words into the “About Fayaway” section. (Or simply navigate via the menu at the top/left of this page.) She desires a bit of work, but we are looking forward to the many upgrades ahead of us. We hope you’ll enjoy following along.

What we’ve been up to:

Our cozy living quarters on the frosty river.

Kelly and I are fortunate to find jobs again. We are striving to stay fit and save some dough, while starting yet another boat project. Our end goal perseveres: to embrace life, through adventure while traveling on the water. For now we’re renting a little house with a clear view of the frozen Piscataqua River, looking forward to seeing folks again in warmer weather.

Happy Valentines Day!

In the meantime, please stay safe by masking and taking the “jab” of vaccine when your time arrives. Thanks for reading!

    1. Hi Brad! I hope you guys are well. Currently the boat is in Mattapoisett, but hopefully we’ll launch and move up to Newburyport in mid May.

Most of the rigging is shot and needs replacing. The Yanmar runs, but needs a thorough going over before we can think of moving.

Congratulations! You must be psyched. I’m sure you’ll be as happy with your choice as we have been.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and you think we could be of any help.

Good luck with your refit plans and again congratulations.

my brother had a friend who sailed a Pacific seacoast 20 from Albany New York down the Hudson and then to Portugal and back. So, they build good boats. Erin is our daughter.
